ON HOLD FOR CUSTOMER #### NEW LISTING 4/3/16 ####

10TH GURKHA RIFLES FALKLANDS WAR ROBUST AND HEAVY LOCALLY CRAFTED KUKRI POSSIBLY ORIGINALLY WW1 ERA MANUFACTURE

    Kukri overall reasonably nice condition.

Comes complete with its original sheath, and both of its locally original chakmak companion knives.

This is a Robust and Solid Relatively Heavy Kukri which has the appearance of a Locally Made Version which is similar in size to a British Army MK 5 Gurkha Kukri...this Kukri came with another 10 th GR Kukri ( Please refer our other listing) and a pair of 10th Gurka Rifles Shoulder Belt Plates.( The 10 th Gurkha Rifles was the Gurkha Regiment sent to the Falklands in 1982). Although not included in with the sale of this
kukri we have included a photo of the Shldr Belt Plates, and they are for sale if anyone would like one or both when purchasing this kukri.

THIS Kukri is very similar in size to a standard issue 1950,s MK 5 Kukri ... BUT ....does remind us of a WW1 era kukri. It has an unusually solid thick blade and two unusually large thick companion knives with really large solid handles that make them small daggers in their own right. Overall appears to have some age to, with some pitting and staining to the Kukri blade and chakmak blades. Also the brass chape at the bottom of the sheath fastened with a pin is reminiscent of a WW1 locally made Kukri. Kukris were traditionally handed down from generation to generation.

This is obviously a field use not a parade kukri with some light wear to brown leather sheath, some usage wear and staining to the kukri and chakmak blades, and some marks and pitting to the blades particularly the chakmaks, although would probably clean up but otherwise overall okay condition.

You must be at least 18 years of age to buy this item.

Delivery UK £ 8.99 Signed Delivery. Will courier Worldwide... if overseas please email for a quote.

As a collector I like to treat people as I would like to be treated,if you are not entirely satisfied with a purchase you can return the item for a refund, but we do not refund delivery. Thanks.
