Victorian era Swords & Daggers were often made in the form of Medieval or Renaissance period weapons. This excellent original Victorian era dagger is in the form of a 16th century dagger. The dagger measures 13 ¼” overall and has an 8” long cruciform steel blade which tapers to a pin sharp point. The blade has just light staining consistent with age. It has a one piece wood handle with steel ferrule, cross guard with pyramid finials and steel ball top pommel. The pommel and ferrule have naïve foliate decoration. The dagger is without scabbard.
