INERT DEACTIVATED. German WW2 2.6cm (26 x 100R) Wurfgranate Patrone 326 Leuchtpistole, (high explosive shell) round for the Walther 27mm signal pistol. This round consists of an aluminium cartridge case with the headstamp cbl (VDM-Halbwerkzeuge, Nuernberg branch Vereinigte Deutsche Metallwerke AG, Zweigniederlassung Sueddeutsche Metallindustrie, Nuernberg W.) and is fitted with a Wurfgranate Patrone 326 projectile and consists of an aluminium body with 6 integral stabilising fins at the rear. There is a steel screw in nose fuse fitted to the projectile. The high explosive projectile, similar to a small mortar projectile retains approximately 80% of its original yellow paint and is stencilled in black round its circumference edq 3a (Deutsche Waffen- u. Munitionswerke Munitionsfabriken AG, Luebeck-Schlutrup Schlutup).
