~ 3rd Reich Kriegsmarine Wardroom Wall Clock ~
A Third Reich Kriegsmarine (War Navy) wall clock which would have been used as a services wardroom piece, we have seen a similar piece for sale which is a confirmed U-Boat wardroom piece.
The dial is of brushed steel with Arabic numerals and an outer chapter ring with the 24hr clock numbers along it.
It has black steel hands and a subsidiary seconds dial with sweeping hand.
The dial is printed by with a small eagle and swastika with the letter ‘M’ below.
The dial also has a winding hole above the six o’clock position.
The clock has a rounded circular glass panelled hinged door with white metal edging.
It is housed in a wooden oak octagonal case with a removal panel to the reverse for accessing the movement.
There is a suspension loop to the top at the back.
A replacement key will be included.

The dial has a diameter of 8 inches (20.5cm).
The case has a diameter of 11 inches (28cm) and a depth of 3 inches (7.5cm).
It weighs 1.76 Kg
~ Condition ~
The clock is in really great condition. The case has only some very minimal scratching here and there. The dial has a couple of minor marks. The glass is intact and is scratch free but the door has a little rust to the inside edge.
The movement is unsigned
The clock is in working order having been recently serviced.
