Cased pair of mint Browning .30 cal Aircraft Machine Guns & Accessories.This is a one-off; a cased pair of pre-war, deactivated Browning .30-06 Aircraft machine guns and their original mounts, sights, ammo tins, armourers tool boxes and belt loading machines. Manufactured by Browning and dated 1937 and 1939 they have the serial numbers 34 & 43. These are thought to be a matched pair for fitting to a either a bi-plane or combat aircraft with a rear gunner. The pilots gun has a hydraulic cocking mechanism whilst the rear gunners has a mechanical firing mechanism and cartridge case collecting bag. There are 3 different types of foresight, 6 ammunition cans and the mounting bracket for a ring mount. There are 2 complete boxed Armourers Kits and 2 cased belt loading tools. They are contained in an original metal lined, fitted packing case. The guns cock, strip and dry fire. They were deactivated in July 1995 and are un-issued. This is a superb set of aircraft guns and one of the rarest sets we have ever seen. Due to the weight of this case UK delivery is at cost and by arrangement.
