Most sought after pistol around in the WORLD!
Here is the ultimate firearm, that has so much cross interest appeal.
This appeals to German pistol collectors, U.S collectors, Colt 1911 collectors,
20th Century pistol collectors, rare pistol collectors, investment collectors (quality always sells) as it is extreamly rare. That is a word
that is thrown around a lot, but these are among the rarest and most sought after pistols in the world and a must for any serious collector.
This is a beautiful 1941 (Mid to late) Marked example with phosphate finish making it a 100% Nazi Issue Pistole 657(n). The finish is about 98% + and has no pitting or damage, this is a true
collectors, high quality piece. Totally untouched since wartime!
Note the Lanyard ring is still present, this is an absolute rarity and was a German requirement. Any that saw service in The Norwegian Army post war had these removed. Also removed by civvy markets post war to comply with some countries/states obscure gun laws.
Very sypmaphetically deactivated with a strong, crisp dry firing action. Full clear barrel, looks amazing square on!
These were only made for 4 years in the war.
1940 pistols, for most collectors are not as desirable as most were produced before German Occupation, and have the emammeled black Norwegian Issue finish.
1941, produced under German occupation and found their way onto different WWII battlefields, Issued
to S.S units, F.J etc who favoured their immense stopping power, they have been found in the Ukriane, Italy, Normandy etc and were highly prized and brought back by vets, now highly prized by collectors. As early as you can get being a deffinate German issue. This particular example was found quite recently in Prague, and we all know what was garrisoned there! This is totally untouched since wartime, VERY rare, most have atleast 1 none matching part after post war issue,
1942, as above, 100% provable that these would have seen active service in WWII.
1943, None produced.
1944, None produced.
1945, It's not likely that any of these '45 pistols ever saw any action during World War II as the first one, serial# 29615, was delivered March 29, 1945 and the last one, serial# 30534, was delivered on 5 May 1945 just before liberation of Norway.
In total, approximately 8200 pistols were made during German occupation (serials 22312-30534).
This particular weapon was discovered in 2011 in Prague, high probability left by a member of the S.S garrison on retreat.
Look on all online forums, these are always described as the 'holy grail', on everybodys 'wish list'. I have seen several people describe these as the best, most expensive firearm they own, and the last one they will ever part with, to the envy of everybody else!
Somthing to be truely proud of owning.
What is unique with these is they issue Kongsberg Factory letters for these pistols.
The letters were pretty detailed and actually better than S&W or Colt letters.
The information in the letter contained the intial inspection date of the pistol, the date of proof firing, the date of sighting and firing, the final inspection date, and the last known disposition/issue of the pistol.
Best of all with the factory letters is you get a copy of the original target that this was used on for it's proof firing. The total cost, £30!
These are next to impossible to find in the U.K, and the world for that matter. Very seldom do they become avalible.
The only one that is avalible in the U.K
other than this is on a very respected U.K dealers site for £3495.00, which in all fairness is a very fair market value considering their rarety and desireability. I must point out though, the lack of Lanyard ring.
U.S prices are atleast $5000 an there are many more over there being vet bring backs.
I am only asking now only £1750 WAS £2495.00, a whole £1750 cheaper than the only other in the country. I have priced this for less than a pre war,
rough mis-matched wartime or post war. (private)
