This is the Russian Tokarev 7.62mm Automatic Pistol.
This was the standard Soviet Auto Pistol from the 30's to the 70's before being replaced by the Makarov 9mmm.
It was a very sturdy and reliable pistol and this coks dry fires and strips down.
The grips are marked CCCP
It appears to be dated 1940 but it could be later as you can see another stamp under neath.
