British 1945 Dated, .303 Calibre, No.5, MKI, Jungle Carbine, ROF (F) And Sling. D 1113..This is an excellent, No.5, .303 calibre, Jungle Carbine. The rifle has great condition woodwork and metal work. Made in October 1945 at The Royal Ordnance Factory, Fazakerley, Liverpool. It is correctly stamped on the breech housing` No.5 MKI ROF (F), 10/45, S5253`. It cocks and dry fires perfectly. This is a splendid example. It has it`s original hollow ended, light weight bolt, flared muzzle, cushioned recoil pad and original webbing sling.
