I have for sale an inert Colt Paterson in the Texas style. It is engraved rather amateurishly and has the lettering 'Patent Arms Mf Co Paterson NJ Colts Pt' on the top of the barrel. That's the way they were I'm told. It is 13" long overall and heavy with it. The trigger drops when the hammer is cocked and the cylinder revolves. The only difference is that the barrel has not been drilled right through. (private)
