Here is a pretty sidelever single barreled .410 hammergun, with plain unsigned action and unsigned barrel.
The 25 1/4" octagonal to round barrel with very clean bore has Birmingham proof marks for .410 only, although the is a filled in dovetail where once there might have been a rear sight.
Although it looks like a converted rook rifle, there are no Rook proof marks.
The sidelever action has a strong lever spring. The top tang is screwed to the top of the action body as well as the usual screw between it and the bottom tang
The well figured 14" pistol grip stock has a horn cap and a steel butt plate. (trade)
