A John Venables and Sons 12 bore Pin fire to centre fire conversion, built 1869...this Oxford gun is in superb condition having been recently restored. It is nitro prooved, and has 2.5 in chambers and 30inch barrels, choked three quarter and three quarter.
Stock length is 14.5 inches, cast for a right hand.
This gun fires modern day 12 bore shotgun cartridges upto a 32gram load, making it a superb Pigeon gun.
Comes in its own fitted oak and leather case with canvas outer, complete with assesories.
This gun is mint! And has superb long range shooting qualities to it, it knocks clays out of the sky at 60yards!, I also have a pattern target to proove this balistic capability).
