Model 58 (7,62 mm samopal vzor 58, sometimes incorrectly CZ 58) is an assault rifle designed and manufactured in Czechoslovakia. The Sa M 58 is gas-operated (short-stroke) and capable of selective fire (semi-automatic or fully automatic, both fired from closed bolt). It looks similar to the AK-47, but its internal operation is different.
