A rare 1851 Navy Sheriff's pattern Colt revolver of .36 calibre.
All main components are stamped with a V and a P, each under a Queens crown.
It has matching serial numbers of '37468' and preserves some of its original cylinder decorations.
Both the 'Colt Patent' stamps on the frame and '36 CAL' stamp on the trigger frame are still visible.
~ Dimensions ~
The barrel length is 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) and the overall length of the pistol is 9.5 inches (24.1 cm).
It weighs 710 grams.
~ Condition ~
The revolver is in an overall good clean condition. The action is good as well.
There are aging signs on the metal and minor surface rust, as seen in the pictures.
The loading lever is a bit loose.
