A scarce American 4 barrelled derringer in obsolete .30 r/f calibre, made by Sharps and marked on the frame "C. Sharp's Patent 1859". The other side of frame marked " C.Sharps & Co. Philada. Pa". Action crisp. Manufactured circa 1865-1885. Brass nickel plated frame. Overall length 5.5 inches. Good working action, the pistol showing some minor signs of use, otherwise in good condition. Ref 9070
