Retailed in Bristol and has the name etched on the blade - "D. PEARSON, HUGGINS & CO. EASTVILLE, BRISTOL".

The silver plated cross-guard set with an embossed king's crown within a wreath, and with unusual black horn grips secured with 4 silver rossettes. The blade stamped on the back edge with a serial number 16296. Complete in its correct steel scabbard with two steel haning rings. Plain highly polished blade with a spear point and cut back edge. Overall length 38 inches. Few minor dents to the scabbard, and signs of cleaning, otherwise in good overall condition. The blade is almost mint. A very rare sword. Ref 8299.
