(Probably T. Andrews, Gun and Rifle Manufacturer who had a workshop at 25 New Road, Woolwich London during the late 18th century.) The pistols are full-stocked and engraved on each lockplate "ANDREWS" and on each barrel "LONDON". The barrels have a gold lined breech and are stamped underneath with London proof marks. Both pistols are in extremely good condition, showing hardly any sign of use. The barrels with hooked breech and platinum touch holes. Both pistols fitted with silver escutcheons to the wrist and with sliding safetys & swivel captive steel ramrods. This set comes in an antique brass bound, wooden carrying case and is in very fine condition, the pistols are in excellent working order. This is the type of pistol that would have been owned by an officer or a gentleman during the late 18th century. A rare oportunity to buy a pair of pistols in such good condition. Ref 9308.
