Armi Jager was an Italian firearms manufacturer owned by Armando Piscetta and located in the town of Loano. Jager was active from the early 1960s, manufacturing semi-automatic rimfire sporting rifles and replica rimfire and small-calibre centre fire firearms patterned after iconic military rifles. This is a nice, Armi Jager AP74 semi automatic .22LR Calibre Rifle patterned on the U.S. Vietnam War era M16 Assault Rifle. It has the full size appearance of the M16 and it's plasic furniture with carry handle incorporating sight & metal work is undamaged with just light scuffing to some parts of the blueing on it's frame consistent with use. The weapon is fitted with bayonet lug and sling swivels. It is deactivated to old specification & strips, cocks & dry fires. The right side of the frame is stamped with manufacturer and model detail (illustrated) and the left with serial number '71581'. The plastic pistol grips are embossed with 'Jager' logos.
