Austrian M1895 Mannlicher Bayonet & Scabbard By Femaru Fegyver Es Gepgyar, Budapest. Sn 10880:52 - 10880:52An Austrian M1895 Mannlicher bayonet and scabbard. The blade is stamped with FG GY denoting it was made by Femaru Fegyver ES Gepgyar, Budapest. The pommel is polished steel and has a release button. The grips are slab wood secured with two steel rivets. The crossguard is straight and is pinned with two rivets. It has a muzzle ring and it is stamped on the edge with a number "9804". The bayonet has a polished steel, single edge, fullered blade which measures 9 1/2" and the ricasso is stamped with FG GY" on one side and a manufacturers mark on the other. The blade is in good condition. The scabbard is black painted steel. It has a frog hook which is stamped with a makers mark, an Austrian Eagle over AE.
