This is a near mint Swiss Military 1957 Pattern Bayonet/Fighting Knife For STGW 57 Rifles. The bayonet has a pristine 9 1/2" double edged blade with medial ridge. It measures 14 1/2" overall. The ricasso is stamped with the manufacturer's 'FW' roundel (Waffenfabrik Neuhausen Wenger). The reverse is stamped '195995 W'. It has a grooved black composite handle, polished steel cross guard with muzzle ring & pommel. It's composite scabbard is in similar fine undamaged condition. It is fitted with a brown leather frog with retaining strap and stud. The frog has a large belt loop and the rear is nicely stamped by the manufacturer 'J.Zumstein, Sattler, Giswil' together with number '67'. The frog is also stamped with a small Swiss military cartouche containing the Swiss Cross and letter 'M'. Price includes UK delivery. ED 2207
