An original scarce Danish Madsen 1947 Rifle Bayonet in it's correct scabbard and leather frog. The bayonet has a double edged polished steel blade which measures 8" long. It has a straight cross guard which incorporates a muzzle ring. The grips are dark wood and smooth. They are secured with two screw bolts. The pommel has a release mechanism which operates smoothly. The bayonet is in very good condition. The scabbard is black painted metal and is in good condition. The brown leather frog has eight copper rivets and has a belt loop. It also has a securing leather strap for the bayonet which has a brass buckle. On the reverse of the frog there is a hand written number "66220872 HCP" The price includes Uk delivery.
