US M4 Bayonet with scarce Satin Finish on the Blade, Scabbard, Frog & Leg Tie by Eickhorn Sn 8881:6 An original commercial US M4 bayonet, scabbard, frog and leg tie manufactured by Eickhorn in the 70's & 80's. The bayonet has a scarce satin finish on the blade, these were made to cater for the many 3rd World and smaller countries still using the M1 Carbine. The blade measures 6 3/4" long and is in very good condition. The grips are black plastic with a moulded diamond grip pattern. The crossguard has a stamp on the top "US M4". The alloy pommel is secured with a screw bolt and the pommel incorporates a bayonet release mechanism which operates smoothly. The scabbard is green composite and still retains the lace 'leg tie'. It has a metal top which is stamped "US M8 A1" and below this the makers stamp "P.W.H." riveted to the scabbard is a green webbing frog which is stitched to form a belt loop and it also has a wire belt clip. The bayonet and scabbard are in very good condition. The price includes Uk delivery.
