Create my profile now!An original Japanese Arisaka Bayonet 1897-1950 with wrap around wooden grip and metal scabbard. The bayonet is from the Tokyo Arsenal, (pre WW2) and features a wrap around wooden grip which is secured with two bolts. It has a hooked quillon and muzzel ring. On the head of the pommel it has a stamped number "35982" It has a polished single edge blade which measures 398mm long. On the Ricasso it has the Japanese manufacturers mark for the Tokyo Arsenal and the hour glass stamp. The scabbard is metal. (Please see page 203 of The Bayonet Book by Peter White) The bayonet and scabbard are in very good condition. The price includes Uk delivery.
