~ Cased Model 1860 Six Shot .44 Cal Colt Army Percussion Revolver ~
The six shot revolver has matching serial numbers of 189318 to all parts.
The serial number indicates that the revolver was manufactured in 1870.
The serial number is stamped on the barrel, cylinder, trigger and grip frames as well as the cylinder itself. Unfortunately due to age pitting the one on the grip’s frame is not clearly visible
The top of the sighted barrel is stamped "Address Col Saml Colt New - York U.S. America.".
The frame, on the left hand side, beneath the cylinder is stamped 'COLT PATENT'.
The stepped cylinder has traces of its scene and is stamped with the serial number '9318’.
The gun comes with a later mahogany case, a copper powder flask with US flags and cannon embossed on it, a modern made bullet mould (stamped Euroarms, Made in Italy) and a percussion cap cardboard box (G.D. France).

The barrel has a length of 8 inches (20.3 cm), the revolver has a overall length of 14 inches (35.5 cm).
The case has a width of 15 inches (38 cm), a depth of 7 inches (17.5cm) and a height of 2.45 inches (6 cm).
It weighs 2.31 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The revolver has some age pitting and the expected amount of wear. Please refer to the pictures.
The top flat engravings are worn. The grips are complete and in good order as are the nipples.
It cocks, releases and indexes smoothly though the spring is a bit weak.
The other parts are in good order.
