~ An Enfield produced paratrooper Bren Mk3 with an original transit case ~
The gun comes with original deactivation certificate dated 6/7/2012.
Nice example of a WW2 manufactured MKIII Bren gun. Dated 1945, the gun comes with a bipod, transit case & magazine.
The barrel is stamped "MK4 P.O.F. 68 A05573". The receiver is stamped D 1945 Bren MK3". The serial number is stamped at the top of the stock - "LB13377".
~ Dimensions ~
The barrel has a length of 22.5 inches (57cm), with the gun having an overall length of 43 inches (109.25cm). It weighs 7.28kg.
The container has a length of 48 inches (122cm), a width of 9 inches (22.75cm) and a height of 11.5 inches (29.25cm). It weighs 19.87kg.
~ Condition ~
The gun is fairly worn from age and use. The legs are worn with damage and paint chipping. One side of the receiver has some minor surface wear whilst the other side has a fair amount has some patches of rust. The grip is chipped and worn. The stock is is slightly worn but in an overall good condition.
