This is an excellent original British Army Battledress Blouse Tunic dated 1955 in size 9. It is very clean, undamaged with all material, stitching and buttons in tact. It has 2 pleated breast pockets and a waist belt with buckle. It is complete with two epaulettes. There are three maroon cloth 'Captain' pips on the epaulettes, one either side. There are maroon cloth 'R.A.M.C.' patches on both shoulders. On both shoulders below the RAMC there are a further patch. The inside of the battledress has a printed label "Battle Dress Blouse 1949 Pattern Size 9 height 5' 7" To 5' 8" Breast 39" To 40" Waist 34" to 35" Black & Co (Clothiers) Ltd 1955". It also has a blue ink stamp "Sep 1955" and the War Department 'Broad Arrow'. The blouson also has a maroon lanyard. The trousers have a label inside "Trousers Battledress 1949 Pattern Size 9 Height 5' 7"-5' 8" Waist 34"-35 Seat 40 to 41" Leg Seam 31 1/2" James Smith & Co (Derby) Ltd Derby 1953" along with the War Department 'Broad Arrow' along with a hand written ink "Y Anthony". The trousers have all of the buttons and buckles. The trousers are clean and undamaged and intact. There is also a Service Cap with cap badge to the R.A.M.C. and punched hole initial to "YA" on the sweat band. The cap is stamped inside with the manufacturers name "Bates Hatter 21 Jermyn Street, St. James, London" and also "The Bates Service Cap Finest Quality" on the leather sweat band. It has a brown leather chin strap with side R.A.M.C. buttons. The cap is in very good undamaged condition. The price includes Uk delivery. Sn 11980
