An unusual pair of continental Percussion pocket pistols, Circa 1840 with screw-off barrels. The pistols fitted with folding concealed triggers, nicely chequered walnut butts with some silver wire inlay down the back edge. Dolphin head hammers and top sliding safety catch fitted to each pistol. The screw-off barrels are 1.5 inches in length. Very good quality engraving to the frames showing animals in a landscape setting, and with ELG Liege Proof marks on each pistol. In good working order, actions are crisp, good overall condition. Size approx 6 inches in length. Ref 8562.
