Three English percussion shotguns ... Top , a very interesting light 8 bore game/pigeon gun by Dyball. 34" twist barrel , 13 3/4 LOP .Very well made with twin loops and strengthened fore-end ,qualty engraving , starburst at breech, but weighing only 6 3/4 lb .Very good working order with good bore - £675 . Middle, a double 12 bore game gun by Williamson .Very solid , apparantly having been well maintained mechanically . The barrels appear to have had the ribs relaid and the loop and ramrod pipes re-soldered recently .Barrels ring nicely and the bores show light pitting only. Locks working very well - £450 .Bottom - a live pigeon gun in 16 bore. Rather grubby , with slightly weak mainspring and working life repair to top strap.Solid generally , good wood , nice hexagonal to round barrel .Bore only lightly pitted and she is well worth cleaning up as these are very expensive when tidy ... £295 . Thanks for looking !!
