~ An English ER II 1897 pattern infantry Warrant Officer's sword by Wilkinson ~
The sword has a pierced knuckle guard with the Elizabeth II cypher and has a bound fishskin grip.
On one side of the ricasso can be found the maker's mark and the Royal Coat of Arms. Under the Royal Coat is ethched "BY APPOINTMENT TO HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II SWORD CUTLERS". The maker's mark is "WILKINSON SWORD LTD MADE IN ENGLAND".
On the other side of the ricasso is stamped '4TWSGL' with the Broad Arrow.
There is no serial number on the Forte.
It is presented with its original brown leather scabbard and sword knot.

The blade length is 32.5 inches (83 cm) and the sword overall length is 38 inches (97 cm).
The scabbard length is 34.5 (88 cm).
The overall length (sword+scabbard) is 40 inches (102 cm).
~ Condition ~
The sword is in an overall very good condition. The blade has blackened from age in few places, it is nick free.
The hilt is in very good condition with almost no signs of wear but apart from a few signs of loss to the finish on the inside.
The scabbard and sword knot are in good order.
