The sideplate engraved "LONDON" to one side and "J. JONES" to the other. Sliding top safety, drop down folding trigger, screw off barrel. London proof marks to the underside of the breech. Good working order and condition. Overall length of pistol is 7 inches. This maker was at the right period in history to have made his weapons possibly for use during the Napoleonic Wars of circa 1803-1815. Ref 7477.
