Made in the Balkan area with very fine nickel silver mounts all highly decorated. The lock most probably made in France. The butt-cap, sideplate, trigger guard, and escutcheon are all very heavily chased. The stock is further inlaid with silver wire and several nickel silver panels. The sideplate repaired, (see photo), otherwise in good condition. Circa 1800-1820. Overall length 19 inches. Ref 7524.This is an antique weapon and is sold as a collectors item only.
