WW1 Era British Hampshire Carabiniers Yeomanry Cavalry Uniform Collection Comprising, Service Cap, Tunic, Trousers & Belt With Rare Badges, Buttons, Collar Badges & Shoulder Titles. Sn 13013. - 13013The Hampshire Carabiniers Yeomanry was a Yeomanry Cavalry Regiment formed in 1834 by amalgamating older units raised between 1794 and 1803 during the French Revolutionary Wars. The Regiment has had several different but similar names since 1834. This is an original Uniform of the Hampshire Carabiniers Yeomanry Cavalry (HCYC). The Navy blue uniform cap has the correct leather brim & thin leather chin strap secured by 2 'Kings Crown’ embossed buttons. It has vent holes at either side. It has its original rare brass 'Hampshire Yeomanry' cap badge with King’s Crown. The Cap including its leather sweatband has just the service wear to be expected. The cap is approx UK size 6. The Navy blue tunic has white piping and yellow braid knots to the cuffs. The collar is mounted with rare original HCYC Regiment badges and all of the tunic’s rare brass Regimental embossed buttons are present. The epaulettes feature the rare ‘Hants T (Territorial/ Yeomanry) Carabiniers’ brass titles. The body of the Tunic and lining are clean & undamaged with just the service wear to be expected. The Tunic is approx UK size 36" Chest. The Navy blue trousers have white tape to the legs, raised waistband, buttoned fly and leather boot straps with buckles at the ankle. All buttons are present. They are approx UK size waist 34", leg 30". All material is clean & undamaged. Also included is the original blue and white webbing belt which fastens by means of a row of brass lugs that attach to a matching row of cord loops.
