1970's 1st Type, Wilkinson Sword 'Dartmoor' Survival knife, Serial Number 0139, With Survival Kit & Scabbard. Sn 10024 The Wilkinson Sword 'Dartmoor' survival knife was made in limited numbers in the 1970's. This is a near mint original example of the 1st Type Dartmoor. It measures 13 1/2" overall with a hefty broad, 7 1/4" long blade with saw back ideal for chopping and cutting wood. It has a heavy rubberised grip with tang screw nut at the pommel. The handle is holed for lanyard. The inside of the handle contains it's original white plastic screw top tube which contains survival accessories including sewing needles, thread/fishing line, lead weights and fishing hooks. The tang is stamped serial number '0139'. The blade is nicely marked with the Wilkinson Sword name and crossed swords trade mark and Queen Elizabeth II Royal Appointment.
