An original US M3 fighting knife, scabbard and leg tie by Imperial. The knife has a leather ringed grip with eight grooves. The steel blade is nicely stamped with "US M3 Imperial" along it's edge as can be seen in one of the photographs. The blade measures 6 3/4" long and is in perfect condition. It has a steel pommel which has the Ordnance stamp of the 'Flaming Grenade' on it. The scabbard is the correct one for the knife which still retains the original 'leather leg tie' and webbing frog which is formed to make a belt loop and is secured with two rivets to the scabbard. The frog also retains the webbing securing strap which fastens with a brass press stud. The scabbard is stamped on the metal top with "US M8 B M Co" This is a virtually mint condition example of the knife and scabbard. The price includes Uk delivery.
