Martini-Henry Francotte 0 Rifles
Martini-Henry Francotte pattern.
Very reluctant sale. This is a lovely rifle that, despite showing its age (Francotte pattern Martinis were produced in the 1880s), makes a lovely wall hanger. Note that this is a contract Martini made by the Nepalese, not a crude Khyber Pass knock off. It has a few Nepalese markings and is virtually identical to a British Martini-Henry.
However, it's in need of a bit of TLC, mainly the buttstock is loose. As an obsolete calibre firearm is is completely live but perfectly legal. It could, perhaps, be cleaned up into a good shooter by someone with the right know how and license.
Overall its a lovely piece of history and in not too bad a shape for a rifle that is 130 years old.
Collection or courier (£25). Offers welcome.
