~ A Model 1935 Army Officer's Parade Dagger by Carl Eickhorn Solingen ~
The blade is etched with the makers mark on the ricasso. The cross guard is in the form of the German eagle and swastika and is in a silvered metal to match the pommel. The grip is of an orange colored plastic. The scabbard is made of silvered iron with two lanyard rings. The surface is decorated with a "dot" pattern with oak leaf detailing on the lanyard ring mounts which match the pommel. It comes with it silver portepee.
~ Condition ~
This dagger is in very good vintage condition. The blade is clean and sharp. The pommel and cross guard have retained their silvered finish with minimal wear. There is a small chip on the grip near the cross guard. The scabbard is in good condition with no noticed damage.
~ Dimensions ~
The dagger in its scabbard measures 15.75 inches (40cm). The blade measures 10.25 inches (26cm). The lot weighs 370g.
