~ A 1851 Colt Navy .36" Revolver with Case and Accessories ~
The serial number is 103415 which is stamped on the barrel, cylinder, frame, trigger frame grip and cylinder frame. The bullet mold also matches. This dates it to 1861.
The top flat is stamped "Address Col Saml Colt New - York U.S. America.". There are a number of British Victorian proof marks stamped across the body.
The gun was most likely brought over by Colt London, proofed and then sold on to the Confederate States.
This is supported by the plain cylinder and steel trigger guard.
The gun comes with a number of items:
1x Case (period but not original to the Colt)
1x Copper powder flask with US flags to both sides
1x Nipple tool (stamped 36C)
1x Bullet mould (stamped 415 WHD i.e. matching the revolver)
1x Set of cast lead bullets
1x Set of cast lead shot
1x Percussion cap tin (F. Joyce of London)
1x Compartment with assorted spare parts including nipples
We think most of these components are original to the Colt.

The case has a width of 14.5 inches (36.75cm) and a depth of 8.5 inches (21.5cm).
