~ The Walther PP ~
The Walther PP was a German automatic pistol which was first produced by Walther in 1929. Although it was developed for the German police forces (PP stands for Polizei Pistole), it was also used by German Army officers from 1939. It was a light and handy design with few frills and a clean outline. The Walther PP was made in a range of calibers, the two main calibers being 9 mm short and 7.65 mm.
