~ New Specification Deactivated French ‘Unique’ Rr51 Police Pistol With Holster And Spare Magazine ~
This French Unique Rr51 Police pistol is a customised one specially made for the German police force.
The Pistolet Automatique Modèle Rr 1951 (the letters Rr stand for “Grand ressort – petit ressort”, meaning Big spring – little spring, due to the type of spring configuration used by this pistol) was manufactured by Manufacture d’Armes de Pyrénées Françaises better known by the acronym MAPF starting in 1951.
The name of the company is stamped on the left hand side of the slide and on the opposite side it is stamped with the calibre 7.56mm and with ‘Le Veritable Pistolet Francais Unique’.
On the left side of the slide can be seen a German proof mark and on the same side there is another one, slightly bigger, near the trigger.
The right side of the frame is stamped above the trigger with the serial number ‘429072’ and another proof mark.
The grips are of checkered black plastic marked on both sides with ‘7.65mm Unique’ within a circle.
The pistol comes with its black-brown leather holster and an extra magazine.
Both magazines have a 9 rounds capacity and are stamped ‘Unique’.
The holster’s lock is stamped ‘Original Tuke-Tite’.
There is also another stamp on the inside that reads ‘Strie’.
The pistol comes with its deactivation certificate dated 09/04/2014.
~ Dimensions ~
The barrel length is 3 inches (7.6 cm) and the overall length of the pistol is 5.7 inches (14.7 cm).
The holster’s width is 5.5 inches (14 cm) and its height is 6.4 inches (16 cm).
The set weighs 670 grams.
~ Condition ~
The pistol is in very good condition with only minor signs of wear. The bluing is mostly intact.
The holster has minor signs of wear as well but remains undamaged.
