Pirlot Freres .69 Musket
For sale is my Belgian made Swiss contract Model 1805 Musket.
Its of the French 1777 pattern and it's a .69 calbire smoothbore conveted from flintlock. Overal length is 145cm. Barrel is shiney, and the metal work is in good condition for its age.
Barrel is marked G: Luzern 364. This donates to a house number (364) in the Swiss canton of Luzern. Also has a Liege proof mark. Lock has a faint (H) marking.
Stock is marked P.F (Pirlot Freres Belgium) as well as some other (H) markings. Wood is in good condition with some small dings and a tiny bit of wood (hardly noticeable) missing at the forend. The sling looks very old, but unsure of age.
In great condition for over 200 year old gun. Ideal for collectors peice or wall hanger.
