2nd Pattern 'FS' Fighting Knives were introduced in 1941 (see pages 55 and 58 of British & Commonwealth Military knives By Flook). This is a great example of the WW2, 2nd Pattern, Officer's fighting knife. It has a knurled nickel plated handle and crossguard. The crossguard is stamped with WD ‘Arrow 56’ mark. The dagger is complete with original scabbard with nickel plated chape. The scabbard has had it's 4 sew on tabs removed and has a single elastic retaining strap which, as is usual with these scabbards has perished in the centre with service use. All leather and stitching are intact. Price includes UK delivery. Sn 10718:8
