In the early 1900's Remington intoduced the Model 4 .32 Rim Fire Calibre 'Take Down' Rifle ( see page 33 of Remington Rolling Block Firearms By Schreier Jnr). This is an excellent original example of the Remington Rolling Block, single shot rifle. It has excellent wood furniture and undamaged metal work with nice patina throughout. It has adjustable rear sight, blade foresight & it's 'Take Down' action works perfectly with the correct early lever on the right side of the action. The top of the barrrel is crisply stamped 'Model 4' & with the Reington manufacturer's address (illustrated). The barrel is also crisply staped with the Remington Signature Trademark & '32 Short or Long RF' Calibre detail. It's steel butt plate is stamped with the Remington 'UMO' Roundel Trademark. The bore of it's 57cm octagonal barrel is clean with crisp rifling. The weapon's loading & firing action works perfectly. Price includes UK delivery.
