A Sussex Armoury Jackal .22 Calibre Air Rifle.
This rifle is in very good condition. The blueing on the barrel and action is in excellent condition with only a few very minor marks to the finish. The beech stock is in good condition with no splits or cracks there are a few minor marks consistent with use but nothing serious. The rifle is fitted with the gravity fed magazine system which is now hard to find as these were often dispensed with being not particularly efficient. This is all complete however one of the plastic lugs which holds the tube in place by the loading port has snapped off this doesn’t appear to effect the mechanism. We have tried to use this loading system but to be honest it is very fiddly and doesn’t always feed a pellet into the loading port so no wonder these were removed. Nevertheless to have one of these rifles complete with the system is rare nowadays and is probably more of a collectable item. The rifle however cocks and fires without issue so for regular use this would be best used without the magazine system. It is fitted with its correct foresight and has grooves on the cylinder for the fitting of a telescopic sight.
