~ Union Arms Company c1860 .44 Percussion, 6 shot Revolver and Stock ~
Based on the Colt M1860 Army, this is a Union Arms Company c1860 .44 percussion, 6 shot revolver with its rare matching detachable, shoulder stock.
These were produced by the Bacon Manufacturing, Norwich, Connecticut and is one of the few with the barrel marked as Union Arms Co.
The white metal guard is stamped 31499 forward of the trigger guard and also under the butt.
The barrel is stamped 'Union Arms Co'. The cylinder is stamped U. A.C. as is the underside of the brass work on the stock.
~ Condition ~
All in very decent condition, the revolver is free from pitting and the woodwork is in very good order. The mechanism works correctly.
~ Dimensions ~
The revolver has an 8 inch barrel, measures 14.5 inches in length without the stock and 27 inches with it.
