A US Marine Corps Campaign Hat Size 7 3/8. Official regulations for the campaign hat came in 1912. The Marine Corps' new uniform regulations included a "Montana peak" field hat, or campaign hat, for both enlisted men and officers. This hat slightly differed from the earlier campaign hat by having four equally-sized indentations in the crown. It was made from olive drab fur felt (finer quality for officers) with a 3-inch wide brim and 5 1/4-inch tall crown. For officers, including those of general rank, the regulations prescribed a gold and scarlet cap cord to fit around the cap band with acorns on either end. The hat is in very good condition and has four indentations in the crown and a 3" brim with 5 1/4" to the crown. The hat has a silk band with a gold cap cord and acorns at either end. The hat has a dull-finished bronze eagle, globe, and anchor cap badge. In side the cap it has a brown leather sweat band which has a size "7 3/8" handwritten along with the name "Roy Cohen". The price includes UK delivery.
