This is an excellent original Gentleman’s sword stick in the form popular in the Edwardian era. It is 34 ½” overall in its scabbard. The heavy duty slim square blade is 26 ½” in length tapering to a needle sharp point. The blade is undamaged with just light staining consistent with age and is stamped on one side by the maker or retailer 'W.Dunne’ and has a very small trademark or stylised monogram on the reverse (illustrated inset in image 3). The elegant ‘Swan’s neck’ handle is made of solid polished horn and has a brass ferrule. The blade fits snugly into its scabbard which has a brass end cap.
