1930's Webley Service, 3rd Series, MK II .22 Calibre Air Rifle. Sn 10121. An excellent 1930's, Webley Service, 3rd Series, MK II air rifle in .22 calibre. The Left side is stamped 'WEBLEY SERVICE AIR RIFLE MK II". 'MANUFACTURED BY WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD, BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND' and with the Webley 'winged pellet logo'. It has the Great Britain, USA, Spain, Germany and Canada 1925 patents stamped on the Right Side of the air chamber together with the patent Number ' 371548'. The barrel is stamped with .22 calibre detail. The rifle is fitted with the correct flip up aperture sight and has a block and blade fore sight. It has an excellent stock with chequered neck and ribbed butt plate. The weapon is serial number ' S 6705' which is stamped to the rear of the trigger guard.
