Weston's of Brighton manufactured between 1838 and 1866 and was a family run business, Edward, Charles & Herbert (father). (see page 105 of English Gunmakers By De Witt & Douglas A Nie). This is a .60" Bore, English Percussion Pistol, it is 11" overall with a 5 1/2" octagonal steel barrel which is ." Bore. The smoothbore is clean with no pitting. It has a steel side plate with scroll engraving and 'Weston'. The top of the barrel is engraved 'Weston Brighton'. It has a 'V' notch plate rear sight and small blade foresight. It has a walnut full stock with chequered grip and carved pommel. It has a steel trigger guard with engraved extended tang. It is complete with it's original ramrod & the pistol. It's action works as it should. The metal and wood of this superb pistol are all original & have no damage. The price includes UK delivery.
