An excellent condition British 1909 dated, 1909 pattern, sword bayonet with hooked quillon and No. 1 MK II scabbard. It has wood slab grips secured with two screw bolts. The pommel has a push button release which operates smoothly. The 17" polished blade is marked 'Wilkinson' and the date stamp "5 09" (May 1909) under a crown and 'E.R. & '1907'. It is profusely marked with Enfield Inspection marks. The pommel is marked with "WR & 343" denoting 1st battalion, Worcestershire Regiment, Bayonet Number 343. The scabbard is also marked Enfield inspection marks. It is stamped on the throat with "1163". (see Skennerton's Bayonet Book, Page 186, item B234). The price includes Uk delivery. Bayo 24
