This is an original WW1 Military Medal Trio to Private 58734 J.S. Brown Machine Gun Corps. The trio with remnants of original ribbons are in clean undamaged condition. Each medal has the name rank and service number of the Soldier together with ‘M.G.C’ (Machine Gun Corps). The medals are complete with 1 original medal box and cardboard tube addressed OHMS (On His Majesty’s Service) to the Soldier. The tube contains the original Army Orders scroll, with colourful heraldic arms listing Soldiers awarded for Gallantry. The list dated 1st march 1919 has the name rank and service number of the Soldier (illustrated in images 1 and 3) identifying him as being awarded the Military Medal for gallantry.
