    ON HOLD ### NEW LISTING ### 6/8/15

WW1/ WW2 FASCINATING AND VERY RARE SCALED DOWN SMALL VERSION BRITISH MILITARY MK 2 GURKHA KUKRI WITH MILITARY MARKINGS COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL BRITISH MILITARY MINIATURE SHEATH & BELT FROG.

Some pitting to blade otherwise nice condition especially considering its age and possible usage.

In the many moons of handling Gurkha Kukris we have handled some small versions but have never handled a MK 2 military kukri scaled down small version, or even found one offered for sale before, let alone with military markings.
Has "? Broad Arrow GII above "90" above "37" stamped on the blade.

Blade length measured in a straight line about 16 cm, kukri length 24 cm.

Complete with its original scaled down version of a MK2 sheath and military belt frog.
This is a top quality manufacture kukri: note the twin tang bolts on the pommel.
The Mk2 was in production from 1915 to about 1944.However the brass fittings on the hilt would point more to WW1.?

What this was originally intended for we are not sure.A presentation item to some dignitary? A prototype small survival knife?
Certainly I have in my collection a full sized kukri used in Burma in WW2, whereas the kukri the kukri and sheath are in nice condition, the blade is pitted like this one caused by the constant jungle wetness and humidity.

Some pitting to blade otherwise nice condition especially considering its age and possible usage.
You must be at least 18 years of age to buy this item.
Delivery UK £ 4.50 by Signed Delivery.

As a collector I like to treat people as I would like to be treated,if you are not entirely satisfied with a purchase you can return the item for a refund, but we do not refund delivery.Thanks.
